Home for the Holidays

We had a wonderfully smooth trip across Tampa Bay after leaving our anchorage in St. Petersburg last Monday. We got all settled in at Twin Dolphin Marina in Bradenton….its a great marina with a warm heated pool, very nice bathroom shower suites (which we really appreciate) and floating docks. We have learned with tide changes its very nice to have floating docks as its easier to secure our boat. We had a great visit with Pete and Kim Schmitz, they are camping for the winter only 15 minutes from the marina. Jennifer Marsh (Nicole’s good friend and ours too😊) also visited us on the boat and joined us for dinner the following night. She recently moved to Tampa so it was good to catch up with her. We visited with family in Sarasota for a couple of nights before heading home for Christmas. Moonshadow II is in Bradenton until 1/12/23, at which point we continue the adventure. It was hard to leave sunny warm Florida, but we are really glad to be home. We now hunker down and stay warm in our home as we wait for the blizzard named Elliot! We did not get Christmas cards out this year……but would like to wish everyone a wonderful and safe Christmas and a Happy New Year. May God bless you with health, happiness and abundant time with loved ones.
